Indeed, 90% of what is reported on the news is crap. The media is all over Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, and Jennifer Aniston, like these people really matter in our lives. But do they report details on the latest bills going through the halls of congress? Rarely.
Of course, it’s all about ratings. They report on what people actually want to see. Ergo, we have only ourselves to blame…though I think there is some factor created by what they choose to show people in the first place.
