I am not a conservative or a liberal. They are both brainwashed into giving up freedoms. They just don’t understand economics. They really want to do good, hell, nobody thought communism was an internal rot until is was there. People look around and see high prices and they don’t understand what the taxes have done to the poor people. Having government waste money, not on welfare, but on the huge inefficiencies that go with it is insane. They preach for the state and disregard any type of self-responsibility. They just don’t understand that this does not build the best societys. Why are we so willing to limit supply when demand is based on supply! Instead of letting ownership be in the hands of the people, the want to give ownership to 0.0000000001% of our population! If business people are good to your face and then “rip you off”(bullshit in a competitive market – which only government destroys). What makes you think a politician won’t do it! They see high healthcare costs and don’t understand government causes 30% of people off of healthcare! Then they believe that the best way to solve this is to use MORE government!!! It is sad to see my friends and family go down the politics train everyday!

I don’t know if it is Pavlovian, but I agree that most people seek to defend their beliefs rather than verify the truth. I guess it is human nature. There are ways to get people to think about things they take for granted, but the techniques I use only work one on one in person. Oh well.
