I know a lot of people are enamored with Obama but I do not understand why he has received this award. He hasn’t been in office long enough to get this kind of recognition. And though he is the first African American president, which is a big deal, that alone should not qualify him for the Nobel Peace prize.

I don’t know what he has done? Hope? Ok the economy is still in shambles people are still getting laid off and yes we are leaving Iraq but that was already in the works and we are just moving troops from there to afghanistan. Should he get it for being the first multiracial president. I dont think that is a good idea at all. That makes it sound like america is the only country that matters. What about all the other countries around the world who have already had presidents of different races? I dont believe someone who promises everything and hasn’t delivered on his promises should be awarded this. Let alone the 1.4 million or what ever money that comes with it. That money should go towards up dating the rehab centers for soldiers who are coming back from war after fighting for freedoms around the world. They are coming back both physically and mentally in need of help. Oh and about bush being a war monger? Does anyone care to look past the liberal media and see that Iraq now has a publicaly elected government. They now have schools hospitals and public utilities that they never had before. I guess some people are quick to play the blame game and point fingers when they are fat happy eating 3 meals a day in a nice air conditioned house with power and running water with a car parked in the garage. Spend a year with these people and see how much we have bettered their lives or actually talk to an iraqi. Most of the people fighting the troops in Iraq aren’t even Iraqi they are coming from other countries and fighting democracy there before it can spread to the middle east and ruin their iron fist way of ruling. Some people need to stop being spoon fed by the major news networks and universities with their agendas and educate themselves on the actual facts.

Mother Teresa said that until there is an end to abortion there will be no peace and here we have a president who goes way an far beyond the call to support abortions and the ones that voted for him do not even care or know the extent of it………
God help him bc he said his father was not around and was raised by white folks but calls himself African American……….was he born in Africa?
