Am I crazy or are big businesses, industries, media, politics, and religion, all ganging up on me to make me do what they want me to do instead of doing what I want them to do? Basically they all want me to support them and the hierarchists that head them up rather than give me a hand or let me learn to take care of myself.

I am in high school and currently spending a year abroad, but before I moved there was this friend of mine who I was really crazy about, and I’m pretty sure he knew. He is the only person I can honestly say is my ideal partner, we both want open relationships and have the same interests and generally similar beliefs on politics, music and art. Why is it that people seem to present themselves as experts in every field from economics to politics to climate science on the Internet?
I have been noticing that any place that provides an opportunity for commenting on any particular news article, has numerous posts by people asserting their expertise.
Do these people actually believe that anyone that really matters, or possess any real knowledge of the given subject actually care what crazy opinions (or ‘facts’) they harbour?
